While exploring plan of works in my other module I have decided to link it with my technical design project module. After being provided with clients brief, having visited the site a few times and investigated it I decided to come up with strategic definition for the Waterloo House Project. The stage 0 of plan of works is concerned around business case and strategic brief, which is a list of request, recommendations and limitations. My strategic definition focuses on the

facilities, MXLLStheir function, user group and proposal outcomes. The document includes justified decisions for instance, I decided to demolish and rebuild 9 Mercers Row and Waterloo House, reason why is because of the roof lines which don't relate to the surrounding environment, the floor levels in the two buildings are different which could cause troubles with circulation and finally aesthetics, the buildings look very square and boring, showing limited amount of relationship between internal and external spaces, their presence also neglects the alleyway which is a big part of the project.
